Getting started is easy!

Combinatronics is a CDN for GitHub focused on performance, reliability, and security. It is free to use for everyone, with no bandwidth limits.

Combinatronics started as a little proof-of-concept app in 2018. Instantly after showing it to some internet communities people started using it.

Since then Combinatronics has been growing, enabled by many technical improvements.

After 2020 Combinatronics had become so popular, major tech projects started using it for their purposes, doing millions of pageviews per day.

In 2021 Combinatronics received its first redesign.

In 2023 we made many changes:

Week 50 (2023): Improved website navigation to reduce bouncerate.
Week 49 (2023): Improved email outreach based on statistics.
Week 48 (2023): Improved frontpage based on a privacy friendly analytics platform.
Week 47 (2023): Improved inhouse analytics of things entered in the url-bar on frontpage.
Week 46 (2023): Optimizing self-restoring capacity to improve nominal functionality.
Week 45 (2023): Re-arranged things on the pricing page.
Week 44 (2023): Moved away from Amazon AWS Lambda for reasons such as:
- Leadership: Preference for Founder Led companies.
- Privacy: Prefere not to have local apt-get package repositories caching & logging our R&D efforts.
- Outgrown: metered billing vs wholesale pricing
Week 43 (2023): Recreated AWS Lambda environment ontop of hardware managed by us.
